Scholes sticks boot into Mourinho again over ’embarrassing’ Man Utd reign

Club legend Paul Scholes has blamed Jose Mourinho for designing his Manchester United exit, guaranteeing the Portuguese would not like to be there.

Mourinho went separate ways with United a month ago, having lost the certainty of a board that offered him an enhanced contract in January 2018.

Since he left Old Trafford, United have won six straight diversions in all rivalries under overseer manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Mourinho has been connected with various occupations since leaving United, including claims he was offered a situation at Benfica.

Scholes was extremely vocal about his dismay towards Mourinho, and has not eased up since the 'Exceptional One' withdrew.

"I felt he would not like to be there," Scholes told TV2.

"He built his turn away impeccably at last.

"His question and answer sessions were humiliating, so negative, it was clear at last the players would not like to play for him. The best thing occurred at last.

"He dropped out with Antonio Valencia who is the most pleasant man on the planet. It's difficult to drop out with Antonio Valencia," said Scholes.

"That was a major sign for me that something wasn't exactly right."

Scholes remains by his persistent analysis of Mourinho amid his United residency, including: "I was simply speaking the truth about the inquiries put to me and what I was seeing from the chief.

"He began griping right off the bat in pre-season, saying the children weren't adequate, which I didn't care for from the begin."
